DiskPressure node crash

What does DiskPressure really mean and how can it be avoided in quernets during container creation?

Apparently, when I create a new container on node, there is a high probability that it will crash the entire node due to pressure ...

From the documentation, you will find that DiskPressure occurs when:

Available disk space and inodes in the root node file array or image file system met the eviction threshold

Studying the conditions of your nodes whenever these problems arise is somewhat important (the amount of space / inodes leftovers ...), and studying the associated container images is important. This can be done using some basic monitoring of the system (see Monitoring resource use ).

Once you know the conditions, you should consider setting the parameters --low-diskspace-threshold-mb , --image-gc-high-threshold and --image-gc-low-threshold kubelet , so for normal operation always enough space or to provide more nodes for you, depending on your requirements.
