I want to configure the #emergency channel, in which important messages will come from the incoming webhook and will contain @channel in them.
I want these notifications to be immediately detected by everyone who has joined the channel, regardless of the time or the Do Not Disturb (DND) settings.
It seems that there is no API to change the DND settings for all but the "current user" (the user calls the API call). Otherwise, I must disable the Do Not Disturb all channel members before sending the message, and then restore the original DND settings.
Is there any other way to make sure that DND does not stop notifications on this #emergency channel?
Everyone who joins the #emergency channel will know that they can receive notifications at any time, so these notifications will not be unexpected.
(Note that this is not a working Slack team, community organization and posts on the #emergency channel are related to real emergencies.)
