How to mock model modeling techniques in Node.js

Question

I struggled to fake a database in one of my side projects when writing units. Can someone please help me here. The following is the scenario:

Prior to this, the source code here is https://github.com/sunilkumarc/track-courier

• I created a model using the secelize module in Nodejs. And I am accessing my db through this model.

• I want to make fun of db calls when starting units. For example, the findOne method here returns a promise ( https://github.com/sunilkumarc/track-courier/blob/master/models/parcels.js#L4 ). Basically, when starting this particular endpoint, I want to skip db access.

Any help is appreciated!
