I use Gforth, and I was looking for the standard Forth word for dividing two double integers or at least mixed dividing a double integer by one integer, but as a result, supporting double integers. It seems not. SM/REM , FM/MOD and UM/MOD have all the limitations.
Did I miss something? Why wasn’t such a word embedded in Forth? The operation is clearly defined and no arithmetic overflows occur. Do I need to program it myself?
