Is there a "Open Folder ..." keyboard shortcut in VS Code?

I do not see the keyboard shortcuts for "Open Folder ..." listed on the documentation page below, and after searching elsewhere for a while I did not see anything.

I thought I would ask here before asking a question on GitHub about this. (Also, there does not seem to be an open / closed problem about this anywhere in the GitHub repository.)

There really is a shortcut for this, the command is workbench.action.files.openFolder , and the default key binding is Ctrl + K , Ctrl + O.

This is easily found in the list of keyboard shortcuts (File → Preferences → Keyboard Shortcuts) if you are looking for a “folder” or “openFolder” in the default keyboard shortcuts.

Press Cmd + O on macOS or Ctrl + O on Windows / Linux to activate the open dialog, select the folder and click "Open."

Note. This answer was written before VS Code implemented several workspaces of several folders. If you open the folders in this way, it will replace all your workspace with the folder that you selected to open. If you want to add a folder to an existing workspace, you must use Cmd + K , Cmd + O on macOS or Ctrl + K , Ctrl + O on Windows / Linux.
