No sync in the Navigator Eclipse window for Neon Release

Question

Before I moved on to this release, Eclipse Navigator had a nice feature. Rearrange the Navigator by clicking on the file tab in the right pane, so the node corresponding to this file in Navigator will become visible and highlighted. I no longer see this feature. I am on macosx.

For some reason, the new Mars and Neon workspaces (even 4.6.2) that I created do not have this feature. But my old workspace is on Mars. Therefore, I think that maybe something is not working in my new workspaces.

This is called "Link with Editor" and you need to enable it. Click on the double-sided arrow in the upper right corner of the window to enable it. When turned on, the arrow looks “pressed”:
