Is there a way to stop asking to overwrite a newer file and just let the editor overwrite it without asking?
I ask because I am experiencing the error in VS Code 1.9.0 that others are experiencing, which causes the editor to erroneously interpret the deleted file as a newer one, therefore, forcing the user to view diff and confirm overwriting. This can happen several times in a row when I make small changes to the file, and it really breaks my workflow.
Microsoft knows about the bugs, and two reports of this exist on their Github, but unfortunately both were closed without permission (or maybe the bug was fixed in an earlier version, but recently re-entered), so I'm just looking for a temporary workaround so far (hopefully) they will fix it again.
What my platform is worth is the Debian Stable (8 / Jessie), and I have a remote server mounted via sshfs (facilitated via PCManFM).
