On my machine, for some reason, I skipped the emu-update-last-check.ini . I created an empty file in the folder indicated in the message, named it emu-update-last-check.ini , and the error message disappeared.

HOWEVER , my emulator still did not start successfully, so there is another problem that I need to track. I assume something is not installed correctly. I will come back here with a solution if I fix it.

UPDATE . When I checked the "Use main GPU" checkbox, the emulator started working for me. I also played with the amount of memory with which the emulator was configured. My current settings: RAM: 1024, VM ​​Heap: 64, Internal storage: 200 MiB, SD card: size 500 MiB.

If the emulator is running, but your application is not running, try removing the application on the emulator manually and starting it again, it will show errors in your application, in my case I had resource errors.
