Does Xcode IBDesignablesAgentCocoaTouch load the CPU endlessly?

I have a .xib file with extensive use of IBDesignable . As my vision grew, I noticed a constant processor load. Now my look is really big, and when I open it in the interface builder, ActivityMonitor shows this: . It continues even if I leave the .xib file and go into the code. The only solution to stop it is to close, then open Xcode and not open the .xib file until you really need it. My gross assumption is that Xcode continues to compile my projects / views in the background to IBDesignable real-time.

What to do to prevent processor loss?

If that made sense - my mac configuration: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

I have the same problem and I decided to remove all IBDesignable from the project, but then I realized that you can just turn off Automatically Refresh Views in the Editor menu as indicated.

The problem later returned only to some XIBs. The reason for this was the Top Bar in Simulated Metrics , which is really unexpected. Removing all simulated indicators solves the CPU load problem.
