Xcode 8 Autocomplete Broken - Displays only limited fragments of user code - do you know why?

It has just begun today. Autocomplete worked quite well and then started spraying, only showing Autocomplete for some standard Cocoa classes / methods, etc. It is best to describe periodic strange omissions. I use Cocoa and Objective C , but it seems to be broken down no more than Objective C .

I deleted the derived data and had no effect. (the default is ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData , but I like to save it in project folders for easy deletion)

Xcode so large (as the operating system), I hesitate to reinstall and read messages here, but this does not work.

It tests my memory of Cocoa methods and order of parameters ... life before Autocomplete was fine, but I would like to return it ...

Caches are macOS Achilles' heel, so ... in a lark, we dug up and found the file ~ / Library / Caches / com.apple.dt.Xcode. It was 1.33G (jez).

I exit Xcode, deleted the cache file, and then restarted Xcode. Voilà !, here !, (or south "Hot DANG!"), We are back in business. The code painting has returned, autocomplete has returned, automatic compilation (auto complain :-) now works.
