How to install Imagick / imagemagick on windows 7

How to install the image layout in Windows 7. I followed these instructions

To install IMagick on Windows XP (php 5.2.x)

  • download and install ImageMagick-6.5.8-7 Q16-windows-dll.exe http://www.imagemagick.org/download/binaries/ ImageMagick-6.5.8-7-Q16-windows-dll.exe

  • download php_imagick_dyn-Q16.dll from: http://valokuva.org/outside-blog-content/ imagick-windows-builds / 080709 /

copy the dll to [php] / dir and rename it to php_imagick.dll

  • You need to edit the php.ini file and add a new extension

    extension=php_imagick.dll
  • Save the ini file and restart the Apache server.

    (Restart windows if necessary)

  • phpinfo() should show the included image.

after that I execute a sample script, but its not working. It shows a missing Imagic class error.

Fatal error: class "Imagick" not found in C: ... \ imgborder.php on line XXX

Please help me install Imagick .: - (

Check permissions on the .dll file to make sure that the Apache user has read access to the file. Better change the resolution of the [PHP] / extension directory.

To change the resolution

  • Right click file or folder (s)
  • Select "Properties"
  • Select the Security tab
  • Click the "Edit" button.

Change the permission of the user to full access.

  • Download the binaries on the PECL page (find the "DLL" links).
  • Open the archive, copy all * .dll files to the "php \ ext" directory.
  • Add the extension to your php.ini:

    • Usually you should add extension=php_imagick.dll .
    • On some WAMP platforms, this may be instead of extension=ext/php_imagick.dll . Just see how existing extensions are defined and similar to each other.
  • Restart the web server.

Imagick is currently installed, but you are likely to encounter this error:

ImagickException: NoDecodeDelegateForThisImageFormat

This means that you must also install ImageMagick:

  • On this page, download the ImageMagick archive that matches the installed Imagick (MSVC version, processor architecture).
  • Open the bin directory of this archive, copy the * .dll files to the php \ ext directory. For example, you will need IM_MOD_RL_jpeg_.dll to handle JPEG.

Here are the Windows binaries for imagick 2.3.0 compiled with VC6 (you can find the VC9 binaries on the Mikkos blog) against PHP 5.3. 2 (API20090626).

I will research this solution, here you will find all the necessary libraries. Download this http://image_magick.veidrodis.com/image_magick/binaries/ImageMagick-6.6.2-10-Q16-windows-dll.exe

Find your dlls here http://www.peewit.fr/imagick/

To find out which library suits your needs, easily run phpinfo ()

Here you will find the following line, for example.

MSVC9 Compiler (Visual C ++ 2008)

MSVC9 tells you that it compiled with Visual C9, so you need to download the version of VC9. It's all.

I have a good day, I need several hours of research.

It might be a nail punch with a 5 pound hammer, but I like Cygwin , a Unix-like environment for Windows; It includes imagemagick as a package.
