PushBase Key - Valid Characters

I am wondering what characters are allowed in a button key. Does it also create an underscore (_)? I always press the letter key with -.

Keys pressed use the modified Base64 alphabet:

-0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ_abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz 

They consist of a timestamp and a random value. The algorithm is described here .
