Why does the InfluxDB web admin interface not work with version 1.1?

Question

I installed infuxDB on my VPS and I would like to use its web admin interface. Normal, I can connect it to port: 8083, but it does not work.

ps: I activated the admin interface in the infuxDB.conf file.

Has the same problem. Installed 1.1 and was unable to access the administrator interface, despite changing the port several times. I was able to access the http endpoint though

With a little research, I realized that Influx DB loads the default configuration, and all my configuration changes are not applied. When I started the service using the infuxd -config function on which the admin console was running.

PS: I use it in windows.

The Web Admin interface was deprecated in version 1.1 InfluxDB . It will be removed in 1.2 in favor of Chronograf .

However, in 1.1 you can still enable the [admin] user interface by updating the [admin] section of the InfluxDB configuration file.

Initially, my installation (Win 7) worked well until I lost access to the web interface after upgrading to version 1.3.5. Even starting an old version of Influxd will not fix it. For some time I struggled to play with all the configuration changes and moved the installation from the Programs folder without help until I found this:

In version 1.3, the web admin interface is no longer available in InfluxDB. The interface does not work on port 8083, and InfluxDB ignores the [admin] section in the configuration file if this section is present. Chronograf replaces the web admin interface with an improved tool for data processing, data recording and database management. See the Chronografs Migration Guide for more information.

I just downloaded the Chronograph executable and started connecting to port: 8888, which turned out to be the best user interface: 8083 admin interface.
