Play long sound in local notification iOS10

Question

I have a custom sound that plays a local notification in iOS 10, when the device is locked, everything works fine, and the sound plays to the end. But when the device is unlocked, as soon as the notification panel disappears (after about 5 seconds), the sound stops playing.

PS. It works great in iOS 9, the notification bar is on top while the notification tone sounds.

Is this a mistake or am I missing something?

EDIT:

I tested with UNUserNotificationCenter and deprecated UILocalNotification . And the same result.
