Cannot restore nuget packages in VSTS (packages could not be installed)

Question

I am using Visual Studio Team Services to create a .NET solution. I have a Nuget Installer task to restore solution packages that is configured as follows:

Nuget.config file has 2 source packages - one is nuget.org (v2) and the other is a custom channel (Nuget Server v2.5.40416.9020). All packages from the nuget.org feed are restored, but there isn’t from the custom channel; for each package from the custom channel, an error message similar to the following appears:

Unable to find version of 'abc' package 'xyz'

Error:

[Error] Error: C: \ a_tasks \ NuGetInstaller_333b11bd-d341-40d9-AFCF-b32d5ce6f23b \ 0.2.22 \ node_modules \ NuGet-problem-common \ NuGet \ 3.3.0 \ NuGet.exe failed with return code: 1 [error ] Packages failed to install

This worked fine 1 or 2 days ago.

Locally, everything is working fine. Also, I tried with nuget version 3.5.0 and the custom version of nuget.exe without success.

Any suggestions?

I had this mistake today. I fixed this error by looking at the changes in the solution file with our main code branch and found some old lines that should not have been there. I think they were the result of a poor merger and should have been removed during the resolution of the conflict.

To fix this problem, I simply deleted the old and all written links.
