Visual Studio Development Status

Question

Is there any Visual Studio add-on / thing that will keep the current set of open windows, bookmarks and breakpoints, etc.? Whenever I return to a problem, it takes some time to find new classes, reset breakpoints, etc. Something that could load previously saved states for each problem would save a lot of time on issues that need to be redirected several times in response to feedback.

Oded hinted at an answer here. Save these files, in particular the .suo file (for your breakpoints and windows) the moment you need this snapshot. Restore it (if necessary, open / close the solution) if you want these windows and breakpoints to be set as they were at the time the file was saved.

As stated in visualstudio.uservoice , such a function exists. You can group breakpoints by marking them in the breakpoints window, and then perform actions at the group level. These actions include on / off and even import / export. Since the msdn link on this sperv server is already disabled, you should check the archived page .
