Check this link and replace the test with the suggested word - www.google.com/complete/search?output=toolbar&q=test

From a search around it, a Google spell service appears, which is no longer available. It has never been officially supported, so I think it just left.

I just replaced my implementation "Upon Expiration." This is a pretty impressive project, it has a very nice jQuery plugin (a much more convenient interface for text fields than jquery-spellchecker, as it was before), as well as a simple REST service.
