Cmd + r reboot hotkey not working

I have a responsive application configured and can be launched by running "terminal-native run-ios" from the terminal. I see that there is another popup for listening on port 8081. However, when I press cmd + r on the simulator, it does not update. I see the watchman working. If there is an error on my javascript, I can update the simulator by clicking the Refresh button at the bottom of the screen. I do not understand why the hotkey does not work. Do I need to install anything else?

You probably need to check that the simulator is connected to your equipment. To do this, go to the menu "Hardware" → "Keyboard" → "Connect hardware keyboard" in the menu of your simulator.

For those who tried this, it did not work and you use Cocoapods:

  • In [Xcode_project] .xcworkspace, click "Prepare" on the left in the project directory view.
  • Click Subscriptions in the project
  • In the Configurations section, select Use Debug to build a command line

Clear project; recovery; work.
