Failed to get alerts when kapacitor configuration for remote node influenza

When I tried localhost in setting the url in setting infuxdb for kapacitor.conf, I was able to get warnings correctly.

But when I tried to point the URL to some remote place in the Infludb configuratin section, I could not get the warning, etc.

Can anybody help me?

My guess: the hostname must be resolved by the InfluxDB instance. Go from the local host to the host name / IP address of your condenser computer.
