How to save selected text in notepad ++ even if I restart my computer?

I want to highlight text in my notepad ++. I already use the tag parameter. But this is not permanent. Whenever I restart my notepad ++, all markings disappear. Is there any solution that my selected text will be there even if I restart my computer?
