How to enable Object Browser in Metadata for Go To Definition in Visual Studio 2010?

Before installing Resharper, Ctrl + Left Click for Go to definition , Visual Studio 2010 uses Metadata . After installing Resharper , when I try Ctrl + Left Click for the first time, Resharper asked me with a pop-up window where I want to go, I click Object Browser for testing. Now I want to return this parameter, but in Resharper there is only one option for this:

ReSharper | Options → Environment | Search and navigation and turn off or on Go to the announcement on Ctrl + Left click in the editor

Resharp options

But if I disabled this setting, it will not return this setting to Metadata . It still refers to the Object Browser . I do not want to reset all keyboard shortcuts because I use all other Resharper shortcuts. How to change only this parameter?

Under ReSharper> Options> Tools> External Sources, select Visual Studio Default Navigation (or “Navigate to Sources”) for a wider range of navigation options, including decompiling and collecting data from symbol servers)

If anyone has this problem in VS2012?

I just installed it using Tools > Options > Environment > Keyboard

  • select "Visual C # 2005"
  • in the "Apply the following additional keyboard mapping scheme" section.
  • Then click "Reset".

This was infuriating, hoping it would help someone else. Worked for me with VS 2010 perfect.
