I have been trying to install phpmyadmin from all day. I tried reinstalling many times, but did not work. When opening localhost / phpmyadmin, I get some text, not the actual phpmyadmin user interface.

I installed phpmyadmin using the command -
sudo apt-get install phpmyadmin
and it is successfully installed with apache2 server. Also, the apache2 server is working fine, and when I open the local host in the browser, it opens the Apache2 Ubuntu Default Page , but when I open localhost / phpmyadmin it opens some text.
