The maximum number of Jenkins tasks depends on what you set as limits in the master and subordinate. Usually we are limited by the number of cores, but your mileage may vary depending on available memory, disk speed, SSD availability, and source code overlap.

For the wizard, this is set in Jenkins Management> Configure System> # artists

For slaves (nodes), it is set in Jenkins Management> Nodes> (each node)> Configure> # artists

It completely depends on your equipment. If you run one instance of Jenkins using slaves, you can determine how many simultaneous build executives you want on the main configuration page at [your Jenkins url] / configure - I have successfully configured 2 executors on the processor core, but it will depend on what your assemblies do and how much CPU they need to consume.

If you also have remote slave assemblies , you can configure several artists on them. The maximum number of simultaneous tasks will be (executors on the master) + (number of remote slaves) * (executors on the slave).
