Android Studio Properties Window Missing

I have no idea where the properties window went. As you can see, this should be under the component tree, but it is not, and there is a gray area to the right of it. any ideas? enter image description here

This is due to Component Tree's large size.

See before increasing size:

After that:

Try reducing the size by clicking and holding the left side of this panel to the right.

This will solve the problem.

Reducing the size of the Component Tree panel will solve your problem.

For a better solution, you can click on the panel option, in the editor mode - to the left. And restart and reposition the panel to the right. (solve the problem on my computer). This problem is only present when the property bar is attached to the right sidebar.

WINDOWS operating system only:

  • First you download Android studio from here:

https://developer.android.com/studio/archive.html

  1. When you are finished, the WinRAR file will appear in the lower left of the screen;

  2. Create an empty folder and place it on your desktop or in any other place you want to select.

  3. Extract WinRAR to the folder you created;

  4. When you're done, open the folder and go to the "bin" subfolder,

  5. find the studio64.exe file if you are running on 64-bit Windows;

  6. if you use 64-bit JAVA, make sure that you in the 64-bit window are also correctly configured to 64 bits in the environment variable; you will see this if you open the system properties window, and at the bottom of this window you will see "environment variables"; make sure it is set to 64 bit, because mine was set to 32 bit, and I manually changed it to 64 bit, and it solved the problem; if there is a mismatch between your JAVA environment and your 64-bit window, JAVA will not work properly.

since you can also directly search for the "environment variable" in the search box by clicking the search icon. The search icon is located in the lower left corner of the screen (mine is windows 10).

  1. After completing # 7, you are now tuned; double-click studio64.exe and follow the installation instructions. You must do everything well, like me.

  2. Hope this solves this glitch. Good luck.
