How to edit text version of Mailchimp email?

I worked on an automation workflow using Mailchimp, which has a simple welcome newsletter. Automation email editor allows me to edit the HTML version of a letter and automatically generate a text version.

However, it only generates a text version when an email is first created. Since then, I edited the HTML version several times and just realized that the plain text version is still stuck in its original state. I canโ€™t find a way to edit this version of plain text or even turn it off!

Click Automate, then click Verify at the bottom of the page. Scroll down a bit, and under the "Email" heading, click "Email Details" next to the first email in the workflow. Scroll down a bit and there is a section labeled โ€œPlain text emailโ€. Click edit next to this, and then click Restore from HTML. This will populate the text version with any updates that were made to the HTML version. Click Save to save the changes, and then repeat for any other emails in the workflow experiencing the same problem.

MailChimp has updated the process: 1. Pause the entire workflow, 2. Go to the confirmation screen. 3. "see Details" of each individual email address 4. "Edit" version of the plain text 5. click the "regenerate from HTML" button (very well hidden) 6. restart the entire workflow.
