Qt Creator response views become disabled

During debugging in Qt Creator (version 3.4.2), if I press the escape key (which I often do to declare my workspace), then all debugging views, including the debugger toolbar, become hidden (as expected), but I can’t get them back later. If I go to the main menu of Qt Creator-> Window, then Views is disabled.

Here is an example of the base window before I hit the escape button. Note that I have all kinds of debugging (e.g. breakpoints, stacks, locales and expressions, etc.)

Here is an example of my window after I pressed the escape key. Note that all debug windows are hidden (as expected). My question is, how do I get windows back? You can see how the "Views" submenu in the "Window" menu is disabled.

Is there any keyboard shortcut for "Show Debugger Toolbar"? Or is there another menu somewhere to bring it back? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the Window menu, turn on the view mode selector. This will show a bar to the left of your window, where you will see the Debug tab, which you can click to return Qt Creator to debug mode.
