Is there any way that github pages support org-mode?

I like creation in org-mode much better than in markdown . It offers much more features such as LaTeX support, table table support, contour view, etc.

I like github pages because it supports jekyll based static sites. Therefore, I do not need to create / publish my blog posts from markdown / org-mode to html . I also do not need to support two version-controlled repositories: one of them generates static html / css for github pages, the other - markdown source / org -mode.

Currently, although github supports org-mode through org-ruby , github pages do not work.

So, I was wondering if github pages support org-mode support initially, possibly through the same org-ruby , so I can just create one repository of github pages based on jekyll and authors blogs in the org mode in it without publishing / generating htmls as I can in markdown .

You do not need to maintain two separate repositories, you can always use two branches in one repository. One with org-mode text and scenes for conversion, the other with static html published by Jekyll.

As shown in how to change markdown mode to org-mode in Jekyll config.yaml? Jekyll does not support org-mode
