How to create assembly timestamp in Java web application using Maven?

I want to show the build timestamp on my website using Wildfly 9. I created buildInfo.properties with build.timestamp=${timestamp} .

When I run the program, an error occurs:

But if I delete the build section in my pom.xml, the application will start, but the timestamp is not displayed. How do I display a timestamp?

It seems that the problem arises if you apply filtering in the src / main / resources folder.

Try to restrict filtering to only buildInfo.properties , as described in http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-resources-plugin/examples/filter.html
