Is F # supported in Xamarin.Forms?

Is it possible to write an Xamarin.Forms application in F #?

I do not see the project template for this in VS2015.

There can be no template, but you can use Xamarin.Forms in F #. Charles Petzold wrote a blog post on it that might seem useful to you:
