Is there a way to use Composer download packages without documents and testing?

I know Gem can do this, and I really don't need documents and tests.

Can Composer do this? Thanks.

You need to use --prefer-dist . And if there is a dist version for your repository, it will be downloaded. You can also use the --no-dev flag to exclude the libraries listed in the require-dev section of packages. These libraries may be useful only for development.
