I have an image that I found on Google. My intention was to somehow teach the GOCR with this sample, and then reproduce the results with the knowledge I acquired. I used
gocr -i /tmp/scanned2.jpg -m 2 -p /home/marc/.db/ -m 256 -m 130
to educate him. -m 2 use the personal database -p to indicate where it is located, -m 256 to ignore the regular ocr database, -m 130 for interactive learning. After I finished my studies (which really took a lot of time), I looked at the result and everything was in order. But when I try to reuse my database, it does not work. When i use
gocr -i /tmp/scanned2.jpg -m 2 -p /home/marc/.db/ -m 256
which is actually the same team as above, only without interactive database training, it does not recognize many of the things that I trained in GOCR in the last session. Shouldn't he give a result equal to the result I got when I trained him?
My system is Linux Mint 3.16.0-38. I installed GOCR via apt-get and have the latest version.
