SVN E155016 Working copy database in ... corrupted

Question

My computer exploded in the middle of the svn update command (version 1.8.8). Now svn says nothing that the working copy is corrupted.

svn: E155016 The working copy database in [dir] is corrupted

I do not know what to do, any suggestions?

Cleanup

Try svn cleanup in your working copy

New check

Try making a new statement in another place. If the new check works correctly, delete the damaged one and replace it with a new check.

I solved the problem with cleaning + return + update (in that order)

When I deleted the entire folder, repeated the check, I got the same error ....
So it seems consistent!

However, I checked in. (CurrentDir)

When I go to another directory, it worked fine!?!?!
So much for transparent behavior .....
