Change card fill

Question

To make the height of the map visible, I use the attribute card_view:cardUseCompatPadding="true" in the XML format of the map. He added an extra pad on all four sides of the card, but I don't need a bottom pad, since the card below each card already has a top pad. So at the moment it looks like double filling between two cards due to the upper and lower indentation. How to reduce it by half?

PS android:layout_marginBottom="-5dp" doesn't seem to work

Use only the edge at the bottom for the maps and indent to the top of your RecyclerView / ListView while holding the maps:

 <android.support.v7.widget.RecyclerView ... android:paddingTop="5dp" android:clipToPadding="false" />
