IPhone - Update Team Training Profile

In the initialization portal, the resume button for my team preparation profile is grayed out. And the specified profile has expired.

How can I extend it?

EDIT: I found the "Automatically create devices" button and the "Refresh" button in the organizer in Xcode. But when I select the team profile, check the box and click the refresh button, I get this message:

An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact Apple Developer Support (http://developer.apple.com/support).

I suppose I can support, but it’s still better to understand what the problem is, without involving them.

I had the same “unexpected error” with the Provisioning Profile when it expired. I fixed it by deleting it in the Xcode Organizer and in the Portal Provisioning Portal, and then clicking update in Organizer.

Spending it again here.

Ok, I had the same issue with the Refresh button disabled for my Provisioning Team profile.

It worked for me.

1) Removed the expired Provisioning Team profile from Xcode Organizer.

2) Removed from the developer portal.

3) Again, from the Xcode organizer, mark the automatic position and click "Update". he asked for credentials and after a few seconds added an updated team preparation profile.

4) He also added a new profile to the developer training portal.

Updating and removing iOS devices did not help during installation.

But I found that the error messages are misleading. I am also a member of the Mac developer program and after selecting “My Mac” in the “DEVICES” section and pressing the (+) “Add to Portal” button, I get an error message “Your team does not have devices for which a provisioning profile is being created”. no longer appeared.

Thus, it seems that the error message is spreading to Mac devices, not iOS devices, even if the URL at the end of the error message is associated with the iOS Dev Center.

I had a problem with Xcode not updating or updating the Team Provisioning Profile and having been trying for a very long time. I always update the update in the "Libraries-> Profiling Profiles" section. Then I tried the Teams section, and after clicking the refrsh button, the Team Provisioning Profile, which was managed by Xcode, was successfully updated there. Hope this helps some of you.

One more thing: I used the same Apple-ID in three teams. Therefore, perhaps Xcode was unable to separate them during the upgrade.

Do this if you really want to solve the problem:

(1) Do you use the certificate for which you created a preliminary profile from your Mac? Or you are using a certificate from another Mac. If this is the case, please get the .p12 file from here and install it in your keychain.

(2) If your certificate in the keychain is the same for which you created the preliminary profile, then this will be fine. Otherwise, you need to create a new provisional profile for the certificate.

(3) Make sure you set the application identifier in the identifier target> properties>. If not, then please install and select a preliminary profile from the target> assembly> code signing identifier.

(4) Then clean and create a project.

If you find any problem, let me know. I would like to solve this problem.

Is the certificate on which it is based expired? Have you deleted the device for which it was intended?

Try deleting the profile and click Refresh to have Xcode add it again. Just a hunch. I don’t know why this will work, but it's worth a try.

Do you click the refresh button from Organizer in the latest version of Xcode, 3.2.5 beta 3?

Here's the answer to compiling the question, if anyone else has an answer to the team preparation profile, write.

You can still compile applications for your device / simulator by creating a developer profile and downloading it to your device.

The key to getting it to work is to make sure that the profile is selected both in the project "Edit Project" and "Change Target Settings" in the "Project" menu. Goal setting is more specific and usually involves people. After making sure that they are both synchronized, you can get started quickly.

In these two menus, check the Build tab and make sure the developer profile is displayed. The default is iPhone Developer, and it should point to your downloaded profile.

Is there a problem using another mobileprovision file? I suppose you are getting an error when using a different condition file, because your Target might use an older one.

try it

  • Get the new mobileprovision file and in the project build properties, set mobileprovision to this
  • Select the active target and in target, create properties, make sure that the same mobile is used
  • Compile the application.

See if that helps.

Regarding the Team Provisioning profile:

Does your console say anything? Are you using Xcode 3.2.5? I would install the radar at http://bugreport.apple.com . Do you see the Team Provisioning file in the Provisioning Portal for iOS? Does he have a green light?

You can try to undo it and let Xcode create a new one.

Regarding the operation of your application

You can always create an application development profile. Select the certificate and the application you are working on. Also make sure you select your device in the checkbox list.

Then download the profile (as soon as it is ready) and double-click on it to import it into Xcode.

If you look at the Xcode organizer, you should see your development profile in the list.

  • If it is red, it means that your certificate has expired.
  • If it is yellow, it means that you do not have a private key for signing using the selected certificate

In the Get Info window of the project, under the code signature, select iPhone Developer for both collectors. See which one is automatically selected (sometimes you need to manually select the correct option).

Then do Clean and Build, and you should be good to go.

I made a mistake by looking at the Wrong place in Organizer.

On the left is LIBRARY, and then below that DEVICES

I clicked on my Iphone in the DEVICES> Prov profile section. No refresh button.

Right place

To the left in ORGANIZER is the library> Profiling

then the command assignment profile is here

Click on it and click Refresh if expired.

As always ... "grep -ir profile". and the cmd line is always your best friend when you want to fix Apple's frustration, inconvenience and pain in the ass .... Spent almost an hour digging up xcode, trying to find this option to enter a new initialization profile number, and not one to be found ... Only when I grep'd for this, I could fix another apple pain in the ass .... I can’t tell you how many times I spend hours going through xcode, got stuck because it won’t compile due to some stupid invalid setting, profile or argument, only to fix it is when I fell to grep and ssed ...

This worked for me:

  • start xcode.
  • Window-> Organizer from the menu
  • Select "Provisioning Profiles" from the DEVELOPMENT menu.
  • press refresh button
  • departure organizer
  • return to the main xcode window.
  • Build-> Clear from menu
  • run and run.

I fixed this by going to the portal and clicking "edit" on all expired profiles. Then click "select all" for the devices and submit.
