How to show current git branch in Eclipse toolbar

Is there a plugin in EGit or some kind of setting to show the current git branch in the eclipse toolbar so that it displays on which branch you are working?

As Sasikanth says that in EGit there is no toolbar that shows the current branch.

Since your IDE usually has several repositories, a toolbar that displays the current branch of a single repository will likely often choose the wrong repository to display.

But if you have an idea of how such a toolbar can work, you can open an extension request .

At the same time, you can either use the repository view to see the current branch of each repository, or look at Pakckage Explorer or Project Explorer. Projects are decorated with the repository to which they belong, and the current branch that is issued.
