Auto-complete plain text in Atom (Github)

I have autocomplete and autocomplete + installed in the latest version of Atom. Unfortunately, these packages do not autocomplete or do not offer words when entering plain text in the form of an open office or any elevated packages.

For example, if I type repo and the word repository already appears in the current document, I would like it to have some kind of autocomplete / intellisense.

I searched in vain for the package in the atom to achieve this.

So, the question is, do you know any package to do this in the atom or any intuition about how to create it?

Thanks.

In fact, the autocomplete-plus package should do exactly what you want. By default, it is viewed in the current document, but you can enable "Enable refinements from all buffers" to get termination from all open buffers.

Some tips why this does not work:

  • Make sure the option "Enable embedded provider" is activated in the autocomplete settings plus
  • The package allows you to choose between the two "Default Providers", "Fuzzy" and "Symbol". Try both (Symbol works fine for me)
  • Make sure that the type of file you are using supports autocomplete and is not blacklisted, see this question for details
  • Perhaps the autocomplete package interferes with autocomplete plus. Try disabling or removing autocomplete
