How to use WinMerge with high resolution Windows settings?

I tried to find an alternative for WinMerge to solve my blurry text problem with 150% DPI. Although my question was closed (I find this mentality useless), but I found an answer to share it.

You can continue to use WinMerge:

• Right-click the program icon → Properties → Compatibility → check the box "Turn off display scaling at high DPI settings."

• Choose a larger font: View → Choose Font ...

Note that in Windows 8.1 you cannot do this from the Start menu, so first open the beginning, find “winmerge” by typing, and then right-click and select “Open file at location”. Then you can right-click and select properties in the folder.
