Azure web application auto-replacement notifications

I am using a deployment slot called warmup in my Azure web application with auto-replace feature. My deployment process is as follows:

  • Octopus Deploy creates release and deploys in warmup slot
  • An automatic replacement warms up the slot and swaps to production as soon as the application is warmed up.

Is there a way to get notified when an automatic shift is completed? I would like to receive a notification both upon successful completion of the operation and upon its completion.

You can add web hooks after deployment through the kudu site: https://<yoursite>.scm.azurewebsites.net/WebHooks

I do not think this will notify you of the exchange, but at least will inform you that the deployment completed successfully.
