How can I cancel a project?

How to disable a project in Team Foundation Server 2010?

I changed the location of the source control and completely removed it from the TFS control source. but now he appears, wanting to add it:

Also, when I try to create a new project, it gives an error below. I completely deleted the files from my local PC and I want to map and get the latest version from the original control, but it gives an error trying to match. I would prefer not to change the location. How to delete an old binding and project when it has already been deleted using TfsDeleteProject.exe ?

You should be able to go to Workspaces and remove / add any mappings there.

  • Go to Source Control Explorer
  • Expand the Workspaces drop-down list along the toolbar in the source code explorer
  • Click the last entry to manage workspaces.

There you can delete mappings.

I would like to add something to the accepted answer ...

If you used some other credentials to get the code earlier, then there will be an existing workspace that will be mapped to the specified local folder. In this case, the new credentials cannot be used to map the same server folder to the same local folder. First you will need to log in with the old credentials and delete this workspace, and then you need to create a new workspace with a new identifier, and then display the desired folder (which now needs to be unlocked), and you should be ready to work.
