Respond to Android and Genymotion

I am trying to press a hardware button in Genymotion to see the activity of the developer.

I use OSX to respond to my own tutorials to hit CMD + M in Genymotion, but that doesn't seem to work.

Is there another shortcut? Or a shortcut to simulate shaking? I am using the free version of Genymotion

You can drag the bottom menu to open the hardware Menu button.

For those who cannot get the menu, this is what you drag and drop. drag it

The menu shortcut (Cmd + M on OS X) will only work if the menu button is visible. So you need to drag and drop the menu as Chris Martin pointed out.
