Cannot resize Android emulator internal storage via AVD, config.ini or resize2fs

I run out of space when I have been working on my application for a long time. I guess this is because the emulator incorrectly removes old apks?

Internal storage is always stuck at 541 MB, even if I change the settings in AVD. The settings in config.ini are set correctly, and I see disk.dataPartition.size=2000M .

I tried erasing and restarting the emulator, creating other virtual devices and even resizing2fs here https://stackoverflow.com>

Nothing seems to work. I tried API 22 and 23 emulators. Both x86

Below is a tutorial on how to increase the internal memory of your Android emulator using the SDK manager:

I hope this will be helpful to you.
