Chrome (43.0.2357.81) JSON tree in network preview pane

Question

Has anyone else noticed that the Chrome preview tab on the network panel now displays json as a string (like a response tab), rather than formatting it in a tree?

If so, can you point me in the right direction to solve the problem?

Is the correct content type header set for the response? For example, in PHP:

header('Content-Type: application/json');
