How to open the Blank App (XAML) in today's visual studio? - WITH#

I am trying to learn from C # Head First, and it seems that the option of an empty application (XAML) exists only in visual studio express 2012 (I tried to express it today like the community, and was not lucky to find this option), I tried several options which seemed to be similar, but none provided the files requested by the manual.

* Sorry for the poor English / grammar, English is not my native language.

The book uses the 2013 version, which supports XAML with an empty application function. In later versions, WPF will be closest to you, which is pretty close, even providing you with XAML. But don’t worry, the book understands that the links are here ( http://cdn.oreilly.com/oreilly/pdfs/hfcsharp3e_WPF_download.pdf ). WPF version of tasks in the book. Hope that helps

The form is a little incorrect and should not be taken literally. A blank in their case means no controls for the newly created WPF application. Just select WPF Application :

Then lift Solution Explorer Ctrl Alt L to see the created project files:

The first chapter in the book mentions that WPF is an alternative to Blank XAML! :)
