Sublime Text 3: Drag & Drop, Move & Create a Copy of Files and Folders

Can I drag, move and create copies of files and folders from Sublime Text?

I can rename, delete and have a plugin so that I can find in finder, but no other functions from the sidebar of the project inspector.

Maybe I'm really stupid, but surely this should be one of the most obvious features?

The obvious function is not implemented, although I suggest you use Sidebar Improvements , a really great plugin for managing the sidebar file in ST2 / 3, (July 24, 2017: only ST3 as repo notes)

Although this may seem obvious, the sidebar is really poor in sublime text. There are requests for this on the Userecho official page, for example this one .

I am sure that this will be realized in some time. You should also not forget that the sublime keyboard-oriented editor, like Vim. This is something rare these days and is a feature. You can bind everything to the keyboard or realize yourself using build systems and plugins.
