AngularJS 1.2.28 or 1.3.8?

Question

I'm starting to learn AngularJS, the lessons I use use version 1.2.28, and this is very different from 1.3.8. So my question is: if I:

• Continue to study 1.2.28.
• Try to learn 1.3.8 on a hard way?
• Expect a new version?

I really don't know what to do!

Angular 1.2.x will only be useful if you are targeting IE 8, and getting closer and closer to a dead end.

Your bid must be in the latest version 1.x. What is now 1.3.x and soon in ng-conf by the end of January will be 1.4 (more than 1.4 at http://gurustop.net/newsletter/7 )

The differences between 1.2.x and 1.3.x should not be so big that someone starts. Basically, only new features and the most severe changes affect advanced users. The entire change log is available at: https://github.com/angular/angular.js/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md

Version 1.3.x has several documentation improvements.
