Can libuv (node.js async lib) run on Apple iOS / Android?

I did some research for this purpose, but it is unclear if libuv can be used on iOS / Android? If its impossible, what limits it?

I want to write a C ++ library that I can use for the same application on IOS, Android, Windows, OSX and Linux. Libuv seems to be suitable for meeting all socket and stream requirements.

libuv has a build target for Android . There is not (officially) iOS available at the time of writing.

In fact, libuv does not have a build target for iOS, but you can always add the source files to the xcode project and build. I created it this way and it works great for me.
