Howto Exiting Quick Language Terminal Mode

I am having problems exiting terminal mode with fast language. I am picking up speed in the terminal on my Mac Air (Yosemite), and I got terminal fast mode, something similar to python's. But in python, I can use quit () to exit this mode. However, in swift, I did not find such a method. So, I exit the entire terminal using the + q command. Then I got the same cabbage: 20282 0.0 0.0 0 0 ?? Z 8:14 PM 0: 00.00 (repl_swift) 20372 0.0 0.0 2441988 652 s000 S + 8:30 PM 0: 00.00 grep swift 20168 0.0 0.0 0 0 ?? Z 8:00 PM 0:00 a.m. (repl_swift)

Worse, even killing -9 cannot kill the repl_swift process.

I think the only thing I can do is restart now. But really curious why ~~ Is the quick terminal mode still in beta? :)

Type control-d to exit REPL.

control-d is the end of a file character, and it is used by various command line tools to mark the end of user input.

You can also exit Swift REPL by typing :quit :q or :exit

You can also enter :exit :quit or :q at the Swift REPL prompt instead of control-d . Type :help in Swift REPL for all available commands.
