How to change terminal in Android Studio on iTerm2?

As the name says, is there a way to change the default terminal for Android Studio to iTerm2 on Mac OS?

I have not tested it on a Mac, but at least on Windows you can choose the shell used by the terminal window in the settings menu (for example, from the cmd.exe file by default for TCC / LE).

I suspect it should be the same

File -> Settings -> Terminal -> Shell path

Refer to the IDEA documentation for the terminal plugin.

File → Other Settings → Preferences for New Projects → Shell Path

Alternative

It will work both on the terminal and in Android Studio.

• To check available shells: run available shells: cat / etc / shells
• To choose your favorite (I choose bash): chsh -s / bin / bash
