What happens if you stop pressing Git?

I executed the following command:

git push -u origin master

"push" was very large, many files, so it took a while to load. Halfway through, I noticed that I forgot to add a couple of files. So I did "Ctrl + C" in the terminal (interrupt Git), and then after doing git add . I locked again and pressed again.

Does Git know that the first failed? It takes a very long time to click (so I can’t check it easily. I need to wait for the click to finish, which may take some time).

EDIT: Hooray! Nothing terrible happened. Everything I did was pushing again and everything works.: {

The repository upstream of Git will not pay attention to your attempts, and no changes will happen. Unfortunately, however, since it does nothing with half files, it does not save it, and then expects to continue clicking later. So he either presses or does not press, there is no attempt;)
