Android ADB - LG G Pad (VK810) cannot be recognized

The name says it all. I am trying to use adb with my tablet, but I can never get it. I followed this guide , but all I get is the following:

I do not understand. I tried my own LG drivers, followed the above tutorial and even just used the vanilla device. Nothing works, and I don’t know why. I manually added my provider id to adb_usb.ini if anyone is interested. (LG VID - 1004).

I solved my question after 2 days of working with him. Hope this helps anyone in the future.

Procedure:

  • Enable developer options on the tablet
  • Enable USB debugging in Settings > Developer Options
  • Go to Settings > PC Connection > Select USB connection method and select Internet connection > Ethernet
  • Go here and download USB drivers for any required OS ( Mirror for Windows )
  • Install the drivers and connect the device
  • Run adb and check if the device is connected.

If for any reason the link in step 4 ever dies, find the LG G Pad VK810 USB drivers from LG. If you have another model from VK810, make sure that you are using your model.

Note:

As mharr pointed out, you cannot find the setting in step 3 on all devices, but if you have this parameter, you need to set it, otherwise I found on my VK810 that adb will not work in any other way.

The same problem happened with the LG V522 tablet. Choosing only the third or fourth option solved the problem. (transfer photos or MIDI device)
